Trapped: Homeowners of Flood-Prone Properties Need Flood Insurance Reform
NRDC story producer Keith Mulvihill and I teamed up with Kertis Creative to tell the story of Olga McKissic, an owner of a home that repeatedly floods to explain why we need flood insurance reform. I was the field producer for this shoot, handling all logistics and creative direction.
I was also responsible for post production and worked with video editor Tom Farber on the final product. An interesting side note; the video attracted the attention of John Oliver, who dedicated a portion of his show to flood insurance reform after viewing the video.
